A Stylish Solution to a Rainy Day: GoGoGolosh.

Packing is one of the greatest stresses of traveling, often because it’s hard to know exactly what to bring. As much as I try to look up the weather ahead of time and prepare to the best of my abilities, it is not always as easy as I would hope. Even if I can tell what the weather will be like, there are no guarantees that it will actually behave the way I expect.

Fog and rain in Pennsylvania

Rain is often the form of weather that I feel least prepared for. While I usually remember an umbrella and a jacket for the rain, I am always disappointed when I never leave enough room for rain boots. Sure, umbrellas and jackets are small enough to squeeze into even the smallest of bags, but rain boots are always clunky and awkwardly shaped. Plus, there’s no guarantees they’ll ever be worn.

Of course, I could learn to pack in a bigger bag, but I’m quite accustomed to carrying a light load, so I was looking for a compromise. Luckily, I found it in GoGoGolosh boots. They take up almost no room in a suitcase, and ensure that I’m prepared for whatever weather is coming my way.

GoGoGoloshes are waterproof boots that are made to slip over shoes, and when they are not being wore, they slip into a convenient little, blue bag. The boots roll up small and the pouch that they come in separates them from the rest of my belongings, making sure nothing else in my luggage gets wet or dirty in the process.

Now, I don’t have to worry about ruining my shoes, and I can survive any weather that comes my way, even if I didn’t know that it was coming. There’s nothing like being prepared for the unexpected, and not having to worrying about configuring an outfit based on the weather, or carrying around an extra pair of shoes or boots.

Priced at $99, GoGoGoloshes offer a convenience like no other product out there. If you’re someone who spends a lot of money on shoes, this additional cost is an investment to help you care for what’s on your feet, and it’s well-worth it.

A special thanks to GoGoGolosh for sending over a pair of boots to test out. As always all opinions are my own.

Love! Stepping in a puddle when you’re wearing flats is the WORST.

I love the fact that they are so easy to pack. These would be great to have in Chicago for the winter for people wanting to protect nice shoes from salt that the city uses on the streets for snow and ice. I can see many ways this product could be useful.
