The Trees of Botswana.

The Trees of Botswana.

I spent last summer visiting four countries in Southern Africa. While I fell in love with each one in different ways, it was Botswana that truly stole my heart. I wish that I had had more time to spend there, but I know that the beauty of the land and people are enough to ensure that I will one day return to this African jewel.

This week, #FriFotos theme is focused on trees. While I don’t usually spend my time photographing trees, something changed in Botswana. The trees of Africa are different, unique, and I found myself being drawn to them. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from my time in Botswana.
