Urban Living in Photos.

Urban Living in Photos.

This week, the folks at #FriFotos hit a subject that’s near and dear to my heart: Urban. Although I grew up in a suburban neighborhood, because both of my parents came from New York City, I had no choice but to become a lover of cities. We spent much time in NYC, exploring each borough, and even ventured to other nearby cities in the United States. I learned how to use public transportation, and figure out my way around city blocks at an early age.

As I began to travel, I would always head to cities first, to uncover what each countries’ cities looked like, and I learned quickly that urban is not always the same. I always had New York City to compare each place to, but I eventually realized there’s no point in comparing. Each urban setting was uniquely different from the next, and each city was special for that reason.

Here’s a collection of some of my favorite urban locations from around the world in photos:

Oh, my favorite travel topic! 🙂 Nice collection of shots, Erin. I especially like the Brussels/Amsterdam ones, and of course NYC skyline never gets old.
