Making the Most of December.

Making the Most of December.

Happy December!

Finally, it’s here, my favorite month of the year. This is mainly because it’s my birthday month – but also because there is so much joy and so much to do to enjoy the season. To make sure we take full advantage of the month, Jeff and I came up with a to-do list, we named it a bucket list for December, but really it’s a list of activities we’d like to do before closing the door on 2012.

Me, as a child, Christmas morning...

Me, as a child, Christmas morning…

We came up with a lot to do, some depending on the weather, so if they all don’t get done, we plan on just carrying them over to January.

Here are just a few of the ways we plan on filling up the month:

1. Snowshoeing

2. Snow mobile

3. Ice skating in Rockefeller Center

4. Build a gingerbread house

5. Ice fishing

6. Ice climbing

7. Snowboard

8. Snow tube

9. Cross country skiing

10. Spelunking

It may be quite an ambitious list, especially with the month already filling up with holiday activities, but I am excited to try each and every item on here. It’s the perfect way to end the adventurous year of 2012, and look forward to another year where I will continue to challenge myself.

Spread the love

Ahh I wanted to go ice skating in Rockefeller Center so bad, but it was CRAZY! Like a 3 hour wait and super expensive..we just went to the other rink, the one from Home Alone instead, and it was so much fun!

I think it’s actually more of a pain than anything else, but I’m dying to do it anyway. Maybe a week day would be better than a weekend? Sometimes I avoid that area just because it is so difficult to even more, let alone ice skate. And, to be honest, my ice skating skills are seriously lacking. 🙂
