“We travel, some of us forever, to seek other states, other lives, other souls.”
What travelers seek depends on who we are, but I truly believe we travel to seek what Anais Nin states in the quote above. Sometimes we travel to discover new places. Other times we seek lives other than our own. Yet sometimes we seek other souls.
We leave our front door to go out and see the world, meet new people, and leave the comfort of our small place in the world. We are all seeking something.
The question must be an internal one to discover why it is we travel the world. We don’t need a reason to go out there and explore, but deep down inside of all of us who travel, there is a reason. If there wasn’t, everyone would travel.
